About HotVault18

1. What this site is

HotVault18 is a catalog: an index of games that are already published for free elsewhere on the internet. Every download button sends you to a third-party page, and what happens there is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy.

2. Your account

Creating an account is free and optional. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done from your account. Use an e-mail address you really own: it is the only way to recover access. One person, one account; do not impersonate anyone else. You may change your username or stop using the account whenever you like.

3. What you can do here

Registered users can rate games, like them, write comments and reply to other comments. Every visitor can report a broken link and report comments. Those, plus writing to us by e-mail and - for subscribers - the Premium Support chat, are the only ways to publish or send content on this site.

4. Rules for comments and messages

Keep it civil. In comments, replies and any message you send us, the following is not allowed:

• insults, harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination of any kind;
• spam, advertising, referral links or repeated off-topic messages;
• sexual content involving minors, or any other illegal content;
• personal data of other people (real names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mails);
• links to malware, pirated paid software, cracks or fake downloads;
• impersonating staff or other users, or filing false reports on purpose.

You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to display it on the site. We may remove any comment that breaks these rules and, in serious or repeated cases, suspend the account. If one of your comments is removed you will get a notification explaining why.

5. Premium subscription

The subscription costs 2.00 USD per month and renews automatically until you cancel it, which you can do at any time from your subscription page. Payments are handled by Patreon: your card details never reach our servers. When you cancel, you keep the benefits until the end of the period you already paid for. Prices may change in the future, always announced in advance.

Please be kind to Premium Support. On the other side of the chat there is a person helping you. Ask your questions clearly, give the details we need, and treat the team with respect. Abusive, insulting or spammy messages may end the conversation and, if they continue, the account may be suspended without a refund of the current period. Support answers as soon as possible, but it is not an instant 24/7 service.

Premium Support can help with downloads, site problems and special requests, such as looking for a safe source for a specific game. We do our best to point you to trustworthy pages, but we cannot guarantee the content of sites we do not control: always keep your antivirus on.

6. Downloads and security

Files come from third parties. Scan anything you download and check that your system is protected. HotVault18 is not liable for damage caused by files obtained through third-party links. If you find a link that leads to malware or to content that should not be listed, report it and we will review it.

7. Intellectual property

Game names, covers, screenshots and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown here for identification purposes only. If you own the rights to something listed and want it removed, write to hotvault18.help@gmail.com with the details and we will look into it promptly.

8. Advertising and cookies

The site is funded through advertising provided by third-party networks, which may use cookies and similar technologies. We also use a strictly necessary cookie to keep your session open while you are signed in. Premium subscribers browse without ads.

9. Availability and changes

We try to keep the site online and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove games, features and these terms at any time. Significant changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above, and continuing to use the site means you accept them.
